A native of Massachusetts, Sharon lives with her partner, son, dog, and cat in Bozeman, Montana. When ¡Perros! ¡Perros! Dogs! Dogs! came out, she was the Program Director at the Children’s Museum of Bozeman. Before moving to Montana, she worked at the Boston Children's Museum, coached soccer at Wellesley College, and was an artist/animator on Comedy Central's Peabody Award-winning show, “Dr. Katz: Professional Therapist.” She graduated from Williams College, where she majored in art, played soccer and was named the NCAA Woman of the Year for Massachusetts in 1993.

Sharon likes doing interactive programs for kids in schools and at the Bozeman Public Library. She mostly works from home as an author/illustrator and mom.
